Care Instructions
Take care of your outdoor rug by:
Vacuuming with no beater bar/rotating brush.
Spot clean with water, with mild detergent.
The backing may get soft once the rug gets wet, but this is a normal phenomenon. Air or sundry the rug and backing, it will go back to normal.
When the rug is cleaned or wet it would be good to move it from the area and turn it upside down to dry the backing and the surface underneath as the water goes through the rug.
When placed on an uncovered wooden patio deck we advise to remove and/or flip the rug during wet weather since it may cause mold or reaction between the latex and wood alkalis.
The rug is water resistant and should preferably be dried upside down.
To extend longevity of the rug we advise you to store it away during bad weather and winter months.

Stock rugs are shipped immediately on receipt of order and will arrive with you in a few days. For most other rugs delivery is 1-2 weeks, however if a rug is out of stock with our supplier this can be up to 8 weeks, or sometimes longer. If timing is crucial, please contact us to check availability prior to ordering.

Gerard was a pleasure to deal with. His knowledge and advice was exceptional. We wanted to replace porcelain floor tiles in our kitchen, for Amtico flooring. We received two quotes from Amtico Premium Suppliers (to ensure a quality result, John Lewis and Higherground). John Lewis were about 24% more expensive than Higherground (like for like).
Another local company estimated the price would START at a figure around 35% higher than Higherground (depending on our Amtico floor choice), so we discounted them. The end result is great, and Joe, who installed the new flooring was excellent. We are delighted with our new kitchen floor.

First class service! Gerard was highly efficient in both the initial consultation and the planning of the project.
The estimate, fitting information and invoices were very clear and he was able to source the perfect materials and provide a range of samples to enable us to achieve the look we wanted.
Perhaps best of all he found a highly-skilled fitter to lay the difficult sisal we chose and the end-result is superb.

We initially become aware of Higher Ground as a referral and have been really impressed with the range, professionalism and service when choosing our carpets, all the way from ordering to delivery and installation. The showroom is well worth a visit if you're local, with a huge range on display providing much needed inspiration.
The fitters were great and overcome an issue with a slight challenge we had with differing floor heights, and were able to adjust a door allowing for the carpet and threshold to be fitted correctly. We have had two bedroom carpets from Higher Ground and will definitely be returning to them, once we are ready with our next project.. Can't recommend them highly enough!
