Plant Fibre Carpets

Alternative Flooring - Jute Big Boucle - Crumpet
Our range of jute, seagrass and sisal carpets
Carpets made from plant fibres offer great, natural alternatives to wool, nylon and other yarns. The two main plant fibres used in carpet-making are sisal and jute. Sisal is a natural fibre extracted from the leaves of the agave, a succulent desert plant now widely cultivated in Africa, Brazil and Mexico (where one of its relatives is the source of tequila). Our Surrey carpet showroom displays all jute and sisal carpets by Crucial Trading, Fibre, Kersaint Cobb & Alternative Flooring.
