Solid Wood Wood Flooring

Solid wood flooring is made from solid blocks of hardwoods including oak, ash, maple, cherry and walnut. Our Venice collection uses solid unfinished bare oak blocks which are fitted using traditional methods. Each block is carefully laid individually to create the herringbone pattern. At the perimeter of the room a two-block border can be fitted with a contrasting inlay of merbau, or without if preferred. Finally, the floor is sanded smooth and finished with an oil or lacquer of your choice. We can provide this classic herringbone floor in various sizes, grades, and species to suit your taste.

Solid wood floors have been in use for centuries and will last generations. You will find original parquet herringbone wood floors in museums and hotels across Europe still in use today. All our wood flooring is installed by our team of expert fitters. We provide matching trims & thresholds for all our wood floors. To hide the expansion gap we can supply and install new skirting boards to the perimeter.
